Blogging at FIT

FIT recognizes blogging as an important communications tool. Our blogs are aimed at demonstrating the expertise of the community and communicating the many ways that faculty, staff, and students are innovative—and interesting!

Communications and External Relations oversees the creation and development of FIT blogs. The web content coordinator manages orientation and training sessions that include a review of blogging policies, best practices, and rules for accessibility.

Departments, programs, committees, and student clubs interested in starting a blog are required to complete orientation and training. After completion, a blog will be created and individuals will be given access to edit.

Policy

FIT has an official policy that governs our use of WordPress for blogging purposes. All bloggers should review this policy.
