Completion of the virtual orientation is mandatory, and you are required to confirm that you have reviewed this website in full. In addition, all incoming graduate students are expected to attend the August 31, 2022 new incoming student welcome event. You will receive additional details about this event by email.

Student Rights and Responsibilities

It is FIT's goal to provide an exciting, vibrant learning community on campus, both inside and outside the classroom. The FIT Student Rights and Responsibilities manual contains crucial information about what it means to be a part of the community at FIT.

Office of Disability Services (FIT-ABLE)

Gladys Marcus Library

Gladys Marcus Library provides a range of services to graduate students, including general research assistance, access to the college archives, databases, borrowing materialas, and inter-library loan. 

Writing and Speaking Studio

The Writing and Speaking Studio can help you with developing, researching, drafting, proofreading strategies, and presenting your ideas, written or spoken. Consultants offer one-to-one feedback on all types of writing and speaking.

The Museum at FIT

Best known for its innovative and award winning special exhibitions, The Museum at FIT (MFIT) is the only museum in New York City dedicated solely to the art of fashion.

Safety and Security

FIT works to ensure your safety at all times, anywhere on campus. A safe atmosphere enhances the experience for all community members and visitors.

International Student Services

International Student Services (ISS) provides various services, programs, and events for international students at FIT. Be sure to check out your International Student Orientation Schedule.

As a campus with a majority commuter student population, FIT has a series of resources, tools and tips to make getting to and from campus as easy as possible.
