Mindful Mondays x Yoga: Refresh & De-Stress

Monday, December 7 -- 11 am, Join Session!

Join us this semester for virtual Mindful Mondays x Yoga! Each week we will get together to practice yoga and explore different wellness and mindfulness topics. Enjoy a 40 minute themed wellness yoga class followed by a reflective workshop where you are invited to share your thoughts and feelings through writing, poetry, drawing, meditation, or any other creative form that calls to you. Bring any supplies you might want to use - paper, pens, pencils, markers, paint, a camera, etc. All are welcome! No prior yoga experience required.

Please join the counseling center for a relaxing and rejuvenating sound bath meditation experience! This session will include a brief introduction to the 7 major chakra points, a review of the benefits of energy healing followed by a live sound bath. Come relax, release stress and recharge.

Test your knowledge on all things wellness! How much do you know about nutrition, sex education, and fitness? Well come and find out Wellness Trivia. Join the Student Activities Board and Health Service's Peer Educators for a fun night of trivia on kahoot. Stress relief week just got a bit competitive. There  will be 1 session from 6- 6:30, session 2 will be from 6:30- 7 and session 3 will take place from 7-7:30. Get your game faces on and the winner will win a $25 dollar Amazon gift card! Yoga Flow with Leslie George

Join a Yoga flow class that will take you through various poses in preparation for a  calming / meditative end to the session.  It's a great way to take care of yourself, get  some exercise and unwind for a while as you prepare to finish up the semester strong!

Virtual Animal Therapy is back again and this time for Stress Relief week! All animal lovers now is your time to let your pets shine. Join the Student Activities Board and the Counseling Center for virtual animal therapy. Using Instagram take a picture or videos with your pet or stuffed animal and share they help you cope with the remote learning. Get your pets into the holiday joy and show holiday outfits! Don't have a pet just share your favorite animal picture or video that you've seen lately. Using the hashtag #FITpetcontrol and tagging @thefitsab will automatically enter you into raffle to win a special giveaway. There will be a raffle every hour on the hour from 2pm-4pm.
