Know Before You Enroll

  • All classes are graded and official transcripts are generated to use at your discretion.
  • Attendance is key! Read more about our attendance policy in our Precollege Student Handbook, found in Opening Day Information
  • Some topics offer various levels to fit your abilities. Look for “Level 1”, “Level 2”, etc… to find your best option.
  • Students and parents must read the Precollege Student Handbook and watch the Precollege Orientation video before arriving for the first day of class.
  • Lunch plans are up to the discretion of each family, but food service is available on-campus at the FIT Dining Hall. (Please note food services might be limited in the summer)

International Students

FIT welcomes international students in its Precollege Programs, but please note that housing is not provided with our programs. FIT offers several noncredit Precollege Program courses appropriate for international students who wish to engage in a short course of study while visiting the United States for tourism, either on a B-2 tourist visa or as part of the visa waiver program.  Federal immigration requirements limit visitors to the United States to a course of study that meets less than 18 hours per week.
