Policy Advisory Group

Policy Advisory Group (PAG)

PAG guides the development of new policies, and revisions or deletions of existing policies. The mission of PAG is to foster a holistic approach to policy development and revision, as their review considers policy impacts in their respective divisions, as well as impacts of policies college-wide.

PAG was created to achieve transparency in the policy process, and help prevent setting practices in silos; their engagement unifies the policy process so that policy impact on all areas is considered prior to approval and implementation.

Members of PAG each review policy proposals and drafts prior to PAG meetings and prepare to discuss them. They consider each policy through the lens of their respective divisions in order to develop a comprehensive view of the policy's impact on the entire college.

PAG offers feedback to facilitate the development or revisions of policies before advancing them for executive-level review and approval. The Group also receives reports of policy implementations from stakeholders; this helps make our policy process more comprehensive as it assures we're not only documenting our principles, but are set up to follow them.

PAG consists of cross-divisional representatives appointed by the President.
