About the Gallery

Mission

The Art and Design Gallery at FIT is an international showcase for the work of students, faculty, distinguished alumni, and invited guest artists in every exhibition. It is a window into the college and a window out. The exhibition spaces serve as a place to foster learning and innovation. There is an expectation that students install their work with the help of their instructors and a gallery installer.

The Art and Design Gallery has three exhibition venues: the lobby, the gallery, and the studio space. 

Gallery Hours

The Art and Design Gallery is open 9 am until 5 pm, seven days per week.

Location

The Art and Design Gallery is located in FIT's Pomerantz Art and Design Center at 300 Seventh Avenue in New York City (on the northwest corner of Seventh Avenue and 27th Street).
