FIT Library Hub
Visit us on the 5th floor, Student Commons of the Joyce F. Brown Academic Building, where we can help find your way around library resources, work through research challenges, and get support with anything that might come up during your studies.
Hours: The Hub is closed for the summer and will reopen in the Fall semester.

Changes in Hours and Library Closures
The Library will be closed and/or have shortened hours on the following days:
- Closed, Wednesday, May 27, due to an internal library event (4th and 5th floors only; 6th floor open 9am - 7pm)
- Periodicals will be open from 4pm - 6pm on Thursday, May 28; the 5th and 6th floors will be open regular hours 9am - 7pm.
- Open Friday, May 29: 9am - 5pm, 5th and 6th floors only; 4th floor closed
- Closed on the following Summer Fridays:
- June: June 5, 12, 19, 26
- July: July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
- August: August 7, 14, 21
- The library is closed to the FIT community and public from Monday, August 3, to Sunday,
August 23, for Summer Intersession.
- 6th floor hours: Monday - Thursday: 9am - 5pm; closed Friday - Sunday
- Fall hours begin on Monday, August 24

Pick Up Hours for Requested Material
Browsing in the stacks is available and encouraged. However, as an alternative patrons can request FIT books and DVDs through OneSearch for pick up. Step-by-step instructions and additional information can be found on our Borrowing Materials page. Items are located in a beige cabinet in the Main Reading Room by the Library Services Desk. Make sure to check out these materials before you leave either at the self-checkout stations or at the Library Services Desk. Please do not come to the library until you receive a "ready for pick up" confirmation email. Pick up hours are anytime the 5th floor is open.
