SPARC faculty and staff are happy to host your visit for research appointments to be held in the SPARC Reading Room, Goodman Center Room E435.
A maximum of three (3) linear feet of material will be available for a given three-hour appointment.
To schedule an appointment, please contact us at [email protected] or call (212) 217-4385. Please contact us at least 24 hours before you would like to conduct your research, letting us know the call numbers for which items in our holdings you would like to view. Also, please be prepared to give a phone number that will work in case we need to contact you regarding your appointment. In addition, please know that only when a Google Calendar appointment email has been sent that your appointment is confirmed.
In the event you need to cancel or delay your appointment we ask that you inform us as soon as possible.

SPARC is located on the 4th floor of the Goodman Resource Center on the southwest corner of 27th Street and 7th Avenue. We are reached via the internal Library stairs from the 5th floor.
The FIT Library can be reached by subway: 1, A, C, E, F, N, or R, and the M on weekdays only. Take the 1, N, or R to the 28th Street Station. Take the A, C, E, F, or M to the 23rd Street Station.
The FIT Library can be reached by bus: M20, M23, or M34. The M20 runs south on Seventh Avenue and North on 8th Avenue. The M23 and M34 are cross-town buses. The Port Authority Bus Terminal is at 40th Street and 8th Avenue. New Jersey buses go to the George Washington Bridge Terminal, and then take the subway or metropolitan bus line.
