Spring 2024 New Student Orientation: Wednesday, January 24 - Thursday, January 25, 2024.

Spring 2024 New Student Orientation takes place in two required sections: Part One: Pre-Orientation, is a virtual module to be completed at your own pace, Part Two: Orientation Days at FIT, is an in-person orientation guided by Orientation Leaders. Attendance is required for both parts and all sessions are mandatory, unless otherwise noted.

Pre-Orientation: *Launches January 2024*
These virtual modules are designed to provide you with essential information and resources before you arrive on campus and can be completed at your convenience. You can anticipate reviewing resources such as Information Technology, Financial Aid Services, Dining Services, and more. These modules can be completed at your own pace, but please be sure to finish all the Pre-Orientation modules before your first day of in-person orientation. Instructions on how to access modules will be provided to your FIT email address.

*Additional Pre-Orientation sessions will be offered on Tuesday, January 23. More details to come.

Orientation Days:
Orientation Days at FIT is designed to introduce you to the people and experiences who will make your time at FIT a success both personally and professionally. Each new student will be assigned an Orientation Group and two current FIT students serving as Orientation Leaders. Orientation Leaders will lead your assigned group from session to session and serve as a peer resource.

Over the course of the two days, new students will meet fellow incoming students and members of the college administration, be provided an in-depth look at academics and academic success, and much more. Each day of orientation is filled with programs and activities that are mandatory unless otherwise noted. A more detailed schedule will be provided early January 2024.
