Virtual Appointments with academic advisors can be made using our online appointment system after you receive your FIT username and password.
Appointments are made using Eastern time, so please be mindful of any time difference
when scheduling your appointment.

Find Your Degree Audit (DARS)
DARS is the document used during your advisement session to review your transfer credits and degree curriculum requirements. This page will teach you how to retrieve this document using the MyFIT portal. The Academic Advisement Center has also prepared a video tutorial to help you understand this process. Program Requirements by Major
New students should review degree requirements. We have listed these requirements by degree type and school on our Majors Advised webpage. This includes the department recommended semester-by-semester suggested schedule.

Follow step-by-step as we provide instructions on how to look up your class schedule prior to registration. You will also have access to the would-be schedule worksheet, which can assist you in planning your schedule. Students at FIT have the opportunity to pursue an academic minor, a selection of courses focused on a particular discipline or a combination of disciplines. This provides a more cohesive program of study and a deeper understanding of the chosen fields. See: Academic Minors
