Athletics and Recreation
Healthy body, healthy mind.
Physical activity can be as inspiring as flexing your mental muscles. That’s why FIT offers a range of physical activities for our students: multiple fitness centers, a dance studio, interscholastic athletics, recreational sports, group fitness classes, and more.
FIT also offers 10 NJCAA Division III teams in cross-country, tennis, soccer, swimming and diving, track and field, and volleyball plus a dance company and table tennis team. Last year, four of our six teams went to national championship tournaments. Go ,Tigers!
Engage in a competitive sport, join in athletics for fun, hit the fitness center for a workout, or take a class to keep yourself moving. Whatever you choose, we’re here to answer your questions and offer support.
FIT’s two fitness centers are free and open to all students with a FIT ID. At the centers, you can access the following:
- Dance studio
- Spin room
- Yoga studio
- Two gyms with cardiovascular machines, weight machine, and free weights
- Locker rooms with showers
