Athletics and Recreation
Healthy body, healthy mind.
Physical activity can be as inspiring as flexing your mental muscles. That’s why FIT offers a range of physical activities for our students: multiple fitness centers, a dance studio, interscholastic athletics, recreational sports, group fitness classes, and more.
Engage in a competitive sport, join in athletics for fun, hit the fitness center for a workout, or take a class to keep yourself moving. Whatever you choose, we’re here to answer your questions and offer support.
FIT offers 10 NJCAA Division III teams in cross-country, tennis, soccer, swimming and diving, track and field, and volleyball—plus a dance company and table tennis team. In the 2019–2020 year, four of our six teams competed at their national championship tournaments!
Upcoming Games and Matches
FIT’s two fitness centers are free and open to all students with a FIT ID. At the centers, you can access the following:
- dance studio
- spin room
- yoga studio
- two gyms with cardiovascular machines, weight machine, and free weights

As long as you have a FIT ID, you can take one of our classes in-person. Simply drop in.
