Updates to PrintFX and FabLab services (as of 4/5/24):
- Vinyl cutting: 6 inch minimum charge
- Self-service 3d printing: Suspended
- Campus Pay Kiosk: Located outside PrintFX. Accepts cash (no coins) and credit cards to fund eAccounts.
- Price and order form changes
- Double-sided laser printing: Suspended
- Departmental design services: Suspended until further notice
- Rush option for all services: Suspended until further notice
- UPS delivery: Suspended
- Riso printing: Suspended
- Alumni job requests: Suspended
- Vinyl stickers (cutting) : For print-and-cut and single color cut stickers, the maximum file length is 60"
- Vinyl stickers (no cutting): Inkjet printing maximum file length is 120"
- Laser cutting price increase: $1.00 per minute
- 24" Inkjet poster roll price increase: $0.85/linear inch
- 44" Inkjet poster roll price increase: $1.50/linear inch
- Spiral bookbinding: For PrintFX in-house prints only. Submit a laser or inkjet sheet order form in addition to a book binding order form to place your order. Double-sided printing suspended until further notice. No customer provided paper. The only binding size accepted is 8.5"x11".
- Button pins: Submit files or hard copies—place your order
- Laser printing service (8.5x11, 12x18): Maximum is 50 sheets per job
- FabLab class orientations: FabLab staff will provide in-person orientations for FabLab services only (vinyl cutting, laser cutting, 3d, vacuum forming). Please resource our instructional video tutorials also if needed or as an alternative
- PrintFX class orientations: Orientations for PrintFX services (2d printing and spiral bookbinding) are suspended until further notice. As an alternative, please use our video tutorials
