FIT Awarded Grant from the Transatlantic Mobility Program

On August 20, 2020, FIT was awarded a $15,000 grant to support a pilot program in Spring 2022.

The grant will be used to:

  • double the number of FIT students studying abroad in Paris from 5 to 10 at Institut Supérieur de la Communication et de Publicité and
  • focus on new curriculum and student-project concepts, in preparation for a collaborative, two-year, affordable Global Marketing and Communications curriculum to be launched in the 2022 fall semester by Advertising and Marketing Communications.

The grant was awarded by the Transatlantic Mobility Program 2020-2021, organized and supervised by the French Embassy with the cooperation and support of NAFSA: Association of International Educators. The 2020 TMP selection committee was composed of staff from the Embassy of France and NAFSA. The competition was particularly rigorous this year with an increase in the number of applicants and a lower budget due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Of 17 higher institutions that applied for grants this year, only four were selected.
