Pre-Orientation Prep
Attendance
All parts of New Student Orientation are mandatory. Be sure to download the Corq app as Orientation Leaders (OLs) will be checking your event pass at each session throughout the day.
Download from either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Search for the Fashion Institute of Technology. You must use the full name, not FIT.
- In the top left corner, sign in with your FIT email and password to access your event pass.
Student ID Pick-up
- If your photo was approved online via ID Photo and submitted by the January 11 deadline, your ID will be available when you check in. Residential students will receive their ID upon moving into the residence halls. Commuter students will receive their ID at Orientation check-in.
- If your photo was not approved or you did not submit one, you will need to have a photo taken on site any time before January 30, 2026. Public Safety will be set up from 8am to 6pm in AX39, Auxiliary Gym in the Business and Liberal Arts Center through Friday, January 30. Please bring a government-issued photo ID and proof of registration.
