FIT Library Renovation Project

Renovation of Special Collections & College Archive and Acquisitions & Metadata Services Units 

For the 2016-2017 academic year, two Library units will be under construction: Special Collections & College Archives (SPARC) and Acquisitions & Metadata Services (AMS).

These projects are the first phase of the college's plan to renovate and update FIT's Gladys Marcus Library. FIT is committed to designing a 21st century academic library that is both a functional learning space that supports and inspires the FIT community and a destination that cultivates creativity, innovation and a sense of community.


The FIT Library will remain open throughout this Renovation Project.

Check this website before visiting the Library for updates on current noise levels,
building or collections access restrictions, and other construction information.

General hours of construction are Monday-Friday from 6am to 3pm. The most potentially disruptive work is scheduled to be completed by 10:00am daily.
