Spring 2022 Classes
FIT will now begin the spring 2022 semester in person on January 31, a week later than originally scheduled.
The spring 2022 semester will run in person from January 31 to May 23. There will be no make-up dates built into this calendar, and President's Day and spring break will remain as scheduled.
Per a New York State mandate, students must be vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 to attend classes. Read more about vaccination requirements.
Academic Tools and Resources
The Office of Academic Affairs is committed to providing continuous academic support to students and pedagogical assistance to faculty as the college returns to in-person instruction. Visit their website for tools to assist you this spring.

The divisions of Academic Affairs and Information Technology have collaborated to provide solutions for those classes that continue to need specialized software technology.
Continuing Education and Precollege
Noncredit courses will return to in-person and online instruction. Precollege Programs will continue being held remotely.

Spring 2022 internships and career planning courses will be conducted in-person. Students who choose to participate in-person at an internship site must adhere to current state and local COVID-19 directives, plus CDC guidelines.
