Meditation Corner
FIT's Meditation Corner, located in the Dubinsky Student Center just outside of Room A-724, has been created to provide a calm, relaxing, and supportive space for our students. Featuring state-of-the-art nap pods, a cozy chaise lounge, and a thoughtfully curated bookcase, it’s designed for moments of rest, reflection, and quiet focus.
Here, we invite students to take time to be still. It is our hope that this space serves as a quiet respite, offering a chance to reset and renew, even if only for a few minutes during a busy day.
Visitors must adhere to the following guidelines:
Meditation Corner Guidelines
- The Meditation Corner is intended for currently enrolled students and is intended for individual use only. In other words, this space may not be used for any organized group activity or meetings.
- No items are to be removed from the Meditation Corner, except for your own personal belongings.
- Users are asked to leave the Meditation Corner in the same condition as it was in prior to use.
- Silence and mutual respect are expected at all times; music is to be listened to through earphones for all musical devices.
- Food and beverages are not permitted in the Meditation Corner.
- Cell phone use in space is for emergency use only; cell phones must be placed on silent in this space.
- Candles, burning oils, incense, or any other flammable items are not permitted in the Meditation Corner.
