Biography

Marianne Eggler-Gerozissis is an art and design historian, critic, and scholar specializing in modern European and American architecture and design of the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. A native New Yorker, she began her career in the NYC art gallery and auction house field, and served as museum educator at The Museum of Modern Art for over two decades. Her research explores the modern domestic interior and her doctoral work investigates the oeuvre of Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich from an interdisciplinary perspective.
