Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the majority of noncredit courses have been moved to online and remote environments. Course sections listed as "Blackboard" are conducted in a traditional online environment, with students logging in on their own schedule to do the coursework. "Blackboard-Remote" courses meet via teleconference at specific times when attendance is required; students will receive login information and instructions after they register. Courses listed with a room location will meet in person on-campus. Please read the requirements for attending on-campus courses here.
All designers are expected to be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Fashion Designers must be able to use Microsoft Excel for their specifications. Graphic Designers must know Adobe InDesign and can no longer ignore the web. There is no web design without video and jewelry designers are expected to understand 3D modeling. If your computer skills have not caught up with the times, or if you would like to take your design skills into a new area, these programs are for you. Courses can be taken as part of a certificate or on an individual basis.
