FIT's benefits department is responsible for administering the college's plans for employee health care (Aetna), retirement savings, flexible spending, life insurance, long-term disability, and commuter benefits. We also manage employee wellness programs and assist employees as they navigate retirement from FIT.

Change in Regulations Regarding the Annual Mailing of Tax Form 1095C
Form 1095-C is an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax form that provides information about the health coverage an employer offers to its full-time employees. IRS regulations have changed, and employers are no longer required to mail this form annually.
While this form is generally not needed to file taxes, you may request to receive a calendar year 2025 form electronically or in hard copy. A request for the form may be made in one of these two ways:

Once a request is received, the form will be provided by the later of January 31 of the year following the reporting year or 30 days after the request is made.
