Research Interests
Yoko Katagiri is an economist specializing in fashion and related industries. Her current research interest is sustainability in the fashion industry.
Katagiri has also been a breast cancer patient since 2014. She believes in the power of fashion, especially for those feeling low and left out in society. Fashion is not only for the young and the fit. Katagiri's mission is to bring fashion to those previously ignored by the industry—i.e., to bring fashion inclusivity.
