Bergen Community College - Fabric Styling
The articulation agreement between the Fashion Institute of Technology and Bergen Community College enables student graduates from Bergen's Fashion Apparel Design, A.A.S. program, to apply to FIT's bachelor program in Fabric Styling. If admitted, students will be accepted as juniors (fifth semester) and may complete the baccalaureate degree requirements in a minimum of two years. Approved on May 23, 2018
Bergen Community College - Technical Design
The articulation agreement between the Fashion Institute of Technology and Bergen Community College enables student graduates from Bergen's Fashion Apparel Design, A.A.S. program, to apply to FIT's bachelor degree program in Technical Design. If admitted, students will be accepted as juniors (fifth semester) and may complete the baccalaureate degree requirements in a minimum of two years. Graduates from the Fashion Apparel Design program at Bergen must complete one, 3-credit, course designated to fulfill the SUNY General Education requirement for Science, and one, 3-credit, course from any of the following General Education categories:Social Science, Western Civilization, The Arts, Humanities, Foreign Language, Other world Civilizations or Foreign Language, before enrolling in the Tech Design degree program. Donghua University
Students enrolled in a B.F.A. program at Donghua University, Shanghai, China, may apply to a one-year Visiting Student Program at FIT. If accepted, students will spend their junior year at FIT to earn an A.A.S. degree from one of the following degree programs: Accessories Design, Advertising & Marketing Communications, Communications Design, Fashion Business Management, Textile Development & Marketing or Textile/Surface Design. Approved for 2014 - 2019
Istanbul Technical University - Fashion Design
As a part of the SUNY system-wide collaboration between the Higher Education Council, Republic of Turkey, Istanbul Technical University (ITU) and FIT agree to offer a collaborative Dual Diploma Bachelor (B.F.A.) Program in Fashion Design. Students accepted into this program spend semesters 1 through 3 studying Fashion Design at ITU. They complete the 4th semester, and required summer courses at FIT, and then return to ITU for semesters 5 and 6. Students come back to FIT to complete semesters 7 and 8. Upon successful completion of the program, students earn baccalaureate degrees from both FIT and ITU. Approved on May 20, 2015
Istanbul Technical University - Textile Development and Marketing
As a part of the SUNY system-wide collaboration between the Higher Education Council, Republic of Turkey, Istanbul Technical University (ITU) and FIT agree to offer a collaborative Dual Diploma Bachelor (BS) Program in Textile Development & Marketing. Students enrolled in a B.F.A. program at NIFT, New Delhi, India, may apply to a one-year Visiting Student Program at FIT. If accepted, students will spend their junior year at FIT to earn an A.A.S. degree from one of the following degree programs: Accessories Design, Advertising & Marketing Communications, Communications Design, Fashion Business Management, Textile Development & Marketing or Textile/Surface Design. Approved for 2016 - 2021
Raritan Valley Community College
The articulation agreement between the Fashion Institute of Technology and Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) enables student graduates from Raritan's AFA program in Visual Communication, to apply to FIT's bachelor degree program in Toy Design. All applicants are required to submit a portfolio, meet with the department for an interview, take a drawing test, and complete a take-home exam. If admitted, students will be accepted as juniors (fifth semester) and may complete the baccalaureate degree requirements in a minimum of two years. Approved on March 5, 2019
