FIT in Florence offers a unique fashion education in the heart of Italy. Taught in English, FIT courses hosted by Polimoda combine global perspectives with rich cultural insight.

Fashion Design (AAS): Study in Florence during your 3rd semester (fall only)

Fashion Business Management (BS): Study in Florence during your 5th, 6th, or full 3rd year

Kickstart Your Design Future in Italy

Start your FIT journey in Florence, where creativity meets culture. Students spend their 1st year in Florence and their 2nd year in New York City, absorbing the distinctive cultural perspectives of both cities while preparing for a career without global boundaries. Taught in English and hosted by Polimoda, this program immerses first-year Fashion Design students in foundational skills alongside rich Italian artistic heritage.

Bold Fashion, Timeless Italian Culture

FIT in Milan lets students study fashion in one of the world’s most style-driven cities. Classes are in English and hosted at Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi).

Fashion Design (BFA): Study in Milan during your 5th, 6th, or 7th semester, or full 3rd year (Sportswear only in 6th and 7th)

Fashion Business Management (AAS): Study in Milan during your 4th semester (spring only)

Deposit Requirement

For current FIT students, to confirm your place in the FIT in Italy programs, a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required at the time of acceptance. This deposit will be applied toward your total billable program cost. Payment instructions and deadlines will be included in your acceptance materials.
