Partnerships
Meaningful academic partnerships help knowledge and human creativity to expand across and transcend boundaries. FIT strategically partners with renowned schools and universities around the globe with similar curricular offerings in Art and Design, Business and Technology, and Liberal Arts, to provide opportunities for each other's students to study abroad. These partnerships may also allow for faculty to teach abroad and collaborate on joint research or creative projects. Different kinds of agreements are signed, depending on the circumstances and requirements of each partnership, and which majors are participating. Study Abroad agreements allow for FIT students to take courses at the partner institution. Reciprocal Exchange agreements allow for a select number of students to study at FIT or the partner institution. Some agreements allow inbound students from partner institutions to study at FIT.
