Guided Meditation Group

Dates: First Wednesday of each month
Location: EAP Office, Dubinsky - 608D
Time: 10:15 am to 10:45 am

Meditation, in its most basic form, is merely the act of turning inward. Through experiencing this quiet place inside, we can discover our wisdom and natural flow. Meditation practice can minimize stress and enhance productivity. In this group, participants will be guided through the process, beginning with an opportunity to set an intention (such as Equanimity, Forgiveness, Gratitude, or Abundance) and ending with a reflection of the experience. 

*No prior Meditation experience is needed, only curiosity and a willingness to explore the possibilities. 

The FIT/UCE Employee Assistance Programs support the wellness of employees and the FIT Community through various services, which include:

  • One-on-one individual counseling regarding personal or work-related concerns
  • Support groups that are open to all employees
  • Peer-to-peer relational support, including managing interpersonal conflicts
  • Confidential support to managers and supervisors regarding employee performance
  • Tailored departmental workshops
