Newsroom is FIT's news source for the campus community and beyond. It illuminates institutional initiatives and reports on FIT events, faculty, student, and alumni achievements, and other developments that further FIT's strategic goals.
Newsroom Direct is Newsroom’s digital newsletter companion, emailed each Monday to all FIT employees and external subscribers. It shares highlights from Newsroom for the week ahead, suggests best bets for what to do on campus, and provides updates on what's happening on FIT's social media.
Newsroom relies on the FIT community to help develop the stories that keep the site fresh and engaging—so your participation is vital! Please share your news via our news submission form; you’ll find a link at the bottom of every Newsroom page and in each Monday's Newsroom Direct.
Before submitting an item for consideration, please follow the guidelines below. Due to the volume of submissions, non-time-sensitive material may be held for future issues.

Guidelines
- Submissions may be edited for length, FIT style, and clarity.
- Not all submitted images can be selected for use.
- Please be sure all names are spelled correctly and that dates, times, and locations are correct.
- To be eligible to appear as a highlight in Monday's Newsroom Direct, submissions must be received by 5 pm on the preceding Wednesday.
