Loaner Laptop Program
Students may request a laptop for temporary use. Requests must be made through Faculty or through the Dean of Students (DOS) / Enrollment Management & Student Success (EMSS):
Step One
Request Through Faculty:
- Email a Faculty member explaining the reason for the request and how long the laptop will be needed.
- The Faculty member will forward the email to their Department Chair for review.
- The Department Chair will then seek final approval from the Academic Dean.
- Once approved, the student will receive the confirmation email, with a copy also sent
to Academic Operations.
or Request Through EMSS/DOS:
- Email the Dean of Students (DOS) and/or the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Services (EMSS) with the reason for the request and how long the laptop will be needed.
- Once approved, the student will receive the confirmation email, with a copy also sent
to Academic Operations.
Step Two
Submitting the Request:
Students must follow the appropriate steps listed above, then upload the approved email to the IT Self-Service Portal (Cherwell) as part of their ticket submission.
