Program

Global Fashion Management MPS
The program emphasizes leadership, applied creativity, strategic problem-solving,
and analytical thinking—along with effective writing and presentation skills. Coursework
spans production management and supply chain, global marketing and fashion brand management,
culture and international business, corporate finance, politics and world trade, business
policy, global retail management, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
Students complete four intensive seminars taught at partner institutions across three
continents. The program is designed to be completed in four semesters. Graduates are
equipped to advance within a range of sectors across the global fashion industry.
This selective program is tailored for professionals in retail, design, marketing,
merchandising, import/export, technology, fashion journalism, supply chain, and other
related fields.
Our Work
Our students examine business, economic, cultural, creative, and technological trends, all through an international lens.

Annalisa Nundahl, Global Fashion Management ’26, shared her capstone presentation of Iron Step with alumni, faculty and friends of the program.

FIT President Jason Schupbach and Bob Fisch presented the 2026 Bob Fisch Award to Somdutta Das, Asif Rahman, and Yeasin Mia of Taati Studio.

Winner Harnoor Sekhon, the first graduate student to win the PETE Prize for Entrepreneurs, is a graduate of the Global Fashion Management program and was chosen among ten competing teams.

Global Fashion Management’s master’s program hosted menswear designer Todd Snyder for an engaging conversation and Q&A session with students.

Opsi, a capstone project by graduating students Emily Foster, Sara Hogan, and Gabriela Maldonado, is a full-service shopping support concept that facilitates online shopping for the blind and visually impaired.

Beyond the Degree
Our alumni lead across the global fashion industry, working in strategic, creative, and operational roles. They represent a wide range of companies—from early-stage ventures to established American icons, like Macy’s, Ralph Lauren, Tiffany & Co., and PVH, as well as European luxury houses, including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, and Ferragamo.

Learn From the Best
Aaron Duncan brings over two decades of leadership experience in the global fashion
and lifestyle industries to his role. Most recently, as Chief Marketing Officer and
Creative Director for The Sak Brand Group, a leading handbag and accessories company,
he led brand strategy, digital marketing, and creative direction.
Duncan has held key leadership positions at iconic companies, including Mattel, where
he served as Vice President of Global Softlines, leading global strategy and business
development for brands such as Barbie and Hot Wheels. At Playboy Enterprises, as Senior
Vice President and Creative Director of Global Licensing, he drove the company’s rebranding
strategy, successfully expanding into men’s and women’s fashion categories.
Mary Zegarac Epner brings decades of expertise in all aspects of retail merchandising and analysis to FIT. Her background includes having worked for publicly-traded retailers and managing businesses that range in volume from startup to $1+ billion. Mary currently works with sustainable concepts, serving as the Founder and CEO of Salvage Renaissance, a New York City-based upcycled fashion startup, and the Chief Merchandising Officer for Snow Milk, a Brooklyn-based artisanal fashion brand. She started her career as a buyer for stores such as Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, and Saks Fifth Avenue, then held executive positions at Macy’s and Aeropostale, and shifted into retail analysis of public and private companies for investors. She joined FIT in 2015.
