CER coordinates official communications in case of an emergency or crisis on or affecting the campus.
We strongly encourage all community members to become familiar with FIT's Emergency Communication Plan, and the protocols to follow in an emergency.
The college uses a channel called FIT Alert for its emergency communications. All employees are automatically enrolled in FIT Alert with their FIT email address.
We strongly encourage everyone to log into MyFIT and go to the FIT Alert tab. There you can add your cell number to receive text messages, and provide additional contact information for yourself and others, such as family members. You should review your contact information at the beginning of each semester to ensure that it is up to date.
