Monitoring weather this weekend

To the FIT Community,
 
Due to the severe winter storm, FIT buildings will be closed and all classes and activities are canceled for Monday, January 26.  Non-essential employees, including those who work remotely on Mondays, are not expected to log-in or work remotely.
 
Residence halls and the FIT Dining Hall are open for those students living on campus.  The shuttle service will continue as long as conditions safely permit.
 
All Buildings and Grounds, Public Safety, and essential personnel must report for duty as scheduled.
 
We will continue to monitor conditions, and by Monday at 12pm we will update the FIT community about the status of classes and college operations for Tuesday.
 
Please note that deans, chairs and faculty will momentarily be receiving an additional update from the Registrar and Academic Affairs.
