Women’s Media Group Scholarship Award

The Women’s Media Group (WMG) has partnered with the Fashion Institute of Technology Film and Media Bachelor of Science program with a $4,000 donation to establish the Women’s Media Group Scholarship at FIT’s film and media program.

WMG is a New York-based nonprofit association of women who have achieved prominence in the many fields of media. The organization’s members drawn from publishing, film, television, online and other digital media, meet, collaborate, and support one another as well as mentoring young women interested in media careers.

This award provides a $4,000 scholarship for a female or female-identified student enrolled in the FIT Bachelor of Science Film and Media program. The scholarship recipient will also receive complimentary membership in the WMG for three years. Membership includes access to workshops, conferences, and mentorship meetings with producers.
