Biography
Jessica Wynne is a photographer whose first monograph Do Not Erase, was published by Princeton University Press in June of 2021. Since then, Do Not Erase has been translated and published in Korea, Japan, China, and Germany. Her work is also included in Turn Shake Flip: Celebrate Contemporary Art (Eyestorm Books 2001) and 25 and Under: Photographers (W.W. Norton & The Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University 1996).
Wynne's photographs have been exhibited at The Morgan Library and Museum, The Triennale di Milano, The Whitney Museum of American Art at Champion, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Cleveland, Edwynn Houk Gallery, Paris Photo, The Armory Show and Art Basel. Her work is in the permanent collections of the Morgan Library and Museum, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art.
Wynne is a 2022 MacDowell Fellow, a 2023 Prix Pictet nominee, and her work has been featured in The New York Times, Fortune Magazine, The New Yorker, National Geographic, and Scientific American, among many others.
She earned an MFA from Yale University School of Art and a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. She currently lives and works in New York City and is represented by Edwynn Houk Gallery.
