Biography

Christene Selleck has worked internationally in the field of Spatial Experience Design since 1988. Her experience ranges from designing holiday displays for Radio City Music Hall—as well as decorating the venue—to working for Live Nation, designing graphics and interior décor for the corporate offices. She has also spearheaded curriculum in Fashion Merchandising and Exhibition Design for the New York Department of Education.

Since 1982, Selleck has been associated with FIT, beginning her formal education there, earning an AAS in Display and Exhibition Design. She received a BFA in Exhibition Design and Curatorial Studies from SUNY Empire College and a master's degree from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program.

Selleck began her role as educator at FIT in 1999. She currently teaches both visual presentation and exhibition design, mixing traditional arts, media, and digital technologies. Selleck is passionate about nurturing her students’ creativity, guiding their progress, and giving them the hands-on experience that lays a solid foundation for them to succeed.
