Biography

Katie Sabo is a conservator in private practice based in Princeton, New Jersey. Her practice focuses on the conservation and mounting of twentieth-century and contemporary fashion and textiles.

Sabo has worked as a consultant for museums and galleries including the Museum of Modern Art, the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture (Washington, D.C.), Bourse de Commerce-Pinault Collection (Paris, France), the National Museum for Women in the Arts (Washington, D.C.), and private clients. She is a member of the American Institute for Conservation, the Costume Society of America, and the Textile Society of America.
