Biography

Evie T. Joselow is an independent fine art appraiser who brings more than 30 years of wide-ranging experience to corporate, institutional, and private clients seeking appraisals of artworks and decorative objects. As an art historian, curator, and expert researcher and consultant, she has extensive knowledge of art history, art markets, artists, and collecting trends, as well as the nonprofit art sector.

In addition to her appraisal and consulting work, Dr. Joselow has maintained a full roster of teaching, lecturing, and publishing on appraisal practices and topics in modern and contemporary art, architecture and design history. She has taught on the faculties of New York University, Pratt Institute, the New York School of Interior Design, and Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Joselow holds a PhD in Art History from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College, and a BA from Vassar College.
