Jeannine Han

Associate Adjunct Professor | Fashion Design MFA

Jeannine Han is an educator, artist and designer. Committed to higher education, she teaches fashion design, textiles, and media at leading programs. She is a recipient of the 2018 award from the Rema Hort Mann Foundation and is currently an artist-in-residence at the Queens Museum.

Han's studio practice involves textile works which tend to both feature and subvert the complex technical processes used to create them while always leaving space for an ever-present but elusive body. She has exhibited work internationally at Entrée Gallery (Norway), Sculpture Center (New York) and Institute of Contemporary Art (London). Her industry work experience includes Google Creative Labs in NYC and Henrik Vibskov's Studio in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Han holds a Master's degree from The Swedish School of Textiles and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design/Media Arts from University of California Los Angeles and studied fine art at The Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm.
