Biography

Dobriana Gheneva is an outerwear and performance apparel designer with extensive experience in women’s and men’s active apparel. She holds numerous registered patents with designs that balance aesthetics and function.

Gheneva worked at Nike’s Advanced Innovation Team and has provided design consultancy services to The North Face, Mountain Hardware, Reebok and The Gap, among others. Her professional work has received numerous awards including the ID Magazine Gold Award, the Yeohlee Critic Award for Sportswear, Warner Brothers Toyota Award and Silhouettes Magazine Sportswear Design Award. Dobriana’s designs have been featured in WWD and Vogue, among others.

Gheneva is also an experienced educator. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textile Design from Swiss Textile and Clothing College in Switzerland.
