Biography
Daniel Filippone is an artist and illustrator. Filippone's current and former clients include The New Leader, ABcomm, New Page Books, Gallery magazine, Knoll Pharmaceutical Company, Calsun Publication, Skydive Jersey Shore, and the Spartan School of Self-Defense. He was commissioned to paint the chancellor’s portrait at Appalachian State University.
Filippone has earned degrees from FIT and the New York Academy of Art. In addition to teaching at FIT, he has lectured at Frostburg State University in Maryland and at Appalachian State University in North Carolina.
Filippone is represented by A-forest Gallery in New York City.
