Crystal Bouzalis

Adjunct Instructor | Global Fashion Management

Biography

Crystal Bouzalis brings two decades of luxury retail leadership into the classroom, offering students a real-world view of how fashion businesses grow, evolve, and compete. She has led high-growth fashion and jewelry businesses across North America in both SVP and COO roles, with a career centered on building brands, scaling teams, driving commercial performance, and creating memorable client experiences. Bouzalis has led cross-functional teams across sales, operations, merchandising, marketing, client development, and organizational strategy, with experience supporting businesses through growth, transformation, and acquisition. Her work has supported the growth and successful acquisition of two brands, giving her a practical perspective on what it takes to build a business from the inside out.

Known for her direct, energetic leadership style, Bouzalis is passionate about developing talent and helping emerging leaders find their voice. Her teaching connects the realities of the luxury industry with the skills students need to influence, present, persuade, and lead with confidence. In the classroom, she focuses on the skills that often separate strong ideas from successful leaders: executive presence, clear storytelling, persuasive communication, and the ability to stay composed under pressure. She helps students learn how to communicate like executives—to shape a vision, defend a recommendation, inspire a team, read a room, and turn ideas into action.

Bouzalis holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
