Biography
Virginia Albert is an account director for independent New York City advertising agency DeVito/Verdi, where she leads client strategy, campaign planning, and new business development. For more than a decade, Albert has led global integrated marketing/advertising/communications campaigns for Amazon, Microsoft, Ogilvy, Grey, DDB, Y&R, Deutsch, IPG, WPP, Dell, Samsung, SanDisk, Subway Restaurants, Teflon, GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, Kellogg’s, Unilever, Dove, Dollar Shave Club, NRG, Calpine, Royal Canin, Galderma, ProActiv, University of Florida, Oxford University Press, American Student Assistance, and many others.
Albert is passionate about advertising, marketing, communications, creativity, strategy, and how they relate to global trends, business, and culture. She loves teaching and hopes to inspire her students, igniting a fire in them for the potential a career in advertising and marketing. She strives to set them up for success using her industry experience and passing on what she has learned as a seasoned professional. Albert's student-oriented focus is aimed as helping students find a purpose, and learn ethical standards for approaching life with integrity, inclusivity, empathy, honesty, respect, kindness, responsibility, positivity, teamwork, and collaboration.
Albert is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in adverstising at The University of Pennsylvania, expected to graduate in December 2024. She has a Bachelor of Science in advertising from The University of Texas at Austin. Albert is originally from Houston, but loves calling NYC home these days.
