Each day of New Student Orientation is specifically designed to make you transition to FIT as seamless as possible. We encourage you to take full advantage of all the opportunities, programs, and experiences during orientation. You will only have one New Student Orientation as a FIT student; make the most of it!

Spring 2026 New Student Orientation

Orientation Day at FIT, hosted by the Department of Student Life, will take place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. If you are an international student you will additionally be required to International Student Orientation on Thursday, January 22 and Friday, January 23, 2026.

Success can be defined differently, and here at FIT we want students to feel accomplished both in and out of the classroom. Three current FIT students will share their journeys of involvement and student leadership. Student panelists are Sarah Guadagnino, Sydney Harmon, and Max Alvarado. This program will be emceed by Associate Director for Leadership and Civic Engagement Dr. Meaghan Davis.
