PVH Precollege Scholarship

High school students in grades 10, 11, and 12, regardless of residency status, who are
interested in Fashion Design and related industries may be eligible for a full scholarship based
on the criteria listed below. This award covers the full tuition for one FIT Precollege 10-day
class, plus a supply stipend, within FIT’s Precollege Programs.


This scholarship is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, provided the student submits the
application and all required supplemental documents by the deadline. Final award decisions are made by a selection committee. Award recipients will be notified by email and will be asked to select their course of choice at that time.

Please note:

  • Students may need to purchase personal supplies for the class, and they will receive a
    $100 supply stipend retrievable through their FIT account.
  • Only high school 10-day Precollege courses qualify for this award.
  • Precollege students may only receive one FIT Scholarship award per semester, whether
    it is the PVH Precollege Scholarship or any other scholarship.
  • Students who fail to attend the first two sessions of their program will forfeit their award.

PVH Precollege Scholarship Application

The following support documents will be required as part of the application:

  • A copy of the student’s current high school transcript, showing good academic standing,
    with a minimum High School GPA of 2.8 or equivalent in letter grade.
  • A third-party document indicating student’s need for financial assistance. Free
    or reduced lunch form awards can be submitted as proof.
  • An essay (200–300 words) discussing how this scholarship would help the student
    achieve their goals.

The transcript and a third-party document indicating financial need must be submitted during the
application process. Please plan ahead and have these documents ready when you are
prepared to complete the application.
