CitySource was started in 2011 to connect designers and small businesses with local fashion manufacturers in New York City. With the generous support of the Garment District Alliance, FIT's Center for Continuing and Professional Studies has produced an in-person free to attend trade show highlighting these factories and businesses within the Garment District. We anticipate approximately 500 people to attend from the tri-state area and beyond. This opportunity is free for accepted vendors.
Each year, the event brings a wide variety of vendors including pattern and sample makers, production contractors, marking and grading, cutting, printers, pleating, embroidery, dyeing, accessories, trims, fabrics, leather, knitters, and design services. For those looking for a small supplier or a full production shop, CitySource provides all the resources to make fashion products locally.
