Size Inclusion

Size Inclusion focused on collecting and presenting measurement data from  200 participants who reside in the US, who are 18 years and up, shop for women’s clothing, and have a waist measurement of 34in and above. The  intent and reasoning behind this research the fact that approximately 70% of the US adult population wears plus size clothing; however, as recently as 2022, only 19% of our retail revenue is from plus sizes.

Plus size customers are incorrectly treated as a niche customer, and therefore, substantial research is not done for this demographic.

The research and presentation will both collect the needed data while also institutionalizing it - making it accessible to faculty, students, and industry professionals.
