Wellness Wednesday 2025 Series

Guided Meditation Group

Dates: November 5, November 12, November 19, December 3, and December 10
Location: EAP Office, Dubinsky - 608D
Time: 10:30 am - 11:15 am

Meditation in its most basic form is merely the act of turning inward. Through experiencing this quiet place inside, we can discover our wisdom and natural flow. Meditation practice can minimize stress and enhance productivity. In this group, participants will be guided through the process, beginning with an opportunity to set an intention (such as Equanimity, Forgiveness, Gratitude, or Abundance) and ending with a reflection of the experience. 

*No prior Meditation experience is needed, only curiosity and a willingness to explore the possibilities. 

Creativity Challenge

Dates: November 5, November 12, November 19, December 3, and December 10
Location: EAP Office, Dubinsky - 608D
Time: 12 pm - 1 pm

Creativity is a gift that is often left largely unopened. It has the potential to serve as a powerful tool for manifesting and attracting desired outcomes into our lives. Join The EAP for this 5-session group, as we apply universal wisdom and innovative strategies to life’s challenges. Whether you want to improve relationships, experience a greater sense of peace, or begin a project you have been putting off, this may be the jump start you have been looking for.  The Creativity Challenge will meet on Wednesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Space is limited, and people will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. You are highly encouraged to attend all five sessions to maximize the benefits from the process. You will not want to miss any of them!

About These Programs

The FIT/UCE Employee Assistance Programs support the wellness of employees and the FIT Community through various services, which include:

  • One-on-one individual counseling regarding personal or work-related concerns
  • Support groups that are open to all employees
  • Peer-to-peer relational support, including managing interpersonal conflicts
  • Confidential support to managers and supervisors regarding employee performance
  • Tailored departmental workshops
