Online Event: FIT Library Special Collections and College Archives Open House
The faculty and staff of the library's Special Collections and College Archives invites the FIT community to a virtual open house to learn more about SPARC's many treasures! Materials come in a myriad of formats and date back to 1590! All of the unit's domains will be represented: Manuscript Collections; Rare Books and Periodicals; FIT College Archives; and Digital and Audio Assets.
Curators from each domain will be in attendance.

Make Soaps and Candles Using Vacuum Formed Molds

Bring your own object to create a mold from, (objects should not have undercuts). Using the mold you can then make soaps or candles. We will provide the supplies and also some objects you can use.
First come, first served while supplies last!

Intro to 3D Jewelry Modeling & Printing Workshop

Join Lizz Hill for an afternoon crash course in 3D modeling for jewelry. Lizz, a professional 3D modeler with 15 years of experience in the fashion industry, will be teaching students how to combine and manipulate basic shapes in the easy-to-learn modeling software, Tinkercad, to design and 3D model jewelry. She will walk students through the 3D printing process and provide them with tips and a path to fabrication.
