Accounting maintains the College’s financial records, ensuring data integrity within the general ledger and fixed assets. It complies with federal, state, and local tax laws, as well as all SUNY requirements. It develops the annual financial reports for the College and each of its auxiliary entities in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. It manages cash balances and investments for operating and endowment funds on behalf of the College and Foundation. It ensures reconciliations of all financial records with bank accounts and is responsible for bond instruments and indebtedness.

Accounts Payable (AP) is the department responsible for disbursing non-payroll payments to vendors, students, and employees.
