Pledge Purple

Tuesday, October 15, 2019  •  12:30pm - 6pm in the Breezeway    Part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Join the FIT community as we take a united stand against domestic violence and sexual assault. From 12:30pm to 6pm in the Breezeway, resources and important information will be made available by members of local community agencies and organizations who provide services and assistance to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. You can help bring increased visibility to these issues and show your support for #NOMORE domestic violence and sexual assault by taking the #PledgePurple pledge and by making a poster for FIT's Take Back the Night March.

The College urges all on campus on October 15th to wear purple to help generate discussion and awareness of domestic and relationship violence.

Pledge Purple & Domestic Violence Awareness Week are brought to you by the FIT Security Advisory Committee, the Campus Anti-violence Education Group, the Department of Facilities, the Division of Enrollment Management & Student Success, the Department of Public Safety, Counseling Services, Information Technology, Health Services, and the Title IX Office.
