FIT enjoys international recognition for the quality of its programs and the caliber of its graduates. At FIT, you’re connected through a faculty of industry professionals and extensive networking opportunities. As a result, FIT graduates have a higher than average job placement rate.
The FIT degree programs in Interior Design give you valuable skills that you can apply across many industries immediately upon graduation. Graduates find positions as interior designers and consultants in:
- furniture production
- design showrooms
- real estate
- facilities management
Our graduates go on to make contributions to major design projects, many of which can be found here in New York City. Sarah Duffy, Interior Design ’02, played a major role in the design of the TWA Hotel at the John F. Kennedy International Airport.
