Visit us on the 5th floor, Student Commons of the Joyce F. Brown Academic Building, where we can help find your way around library resources, work through research
challenges, and get support with anything that might come up during your studies.
Hours: Closed: December 22 - January 25, 2026. Starting January 26 through May 21, 2026, Monday - Friday, 12pm - 4pm. Hours are subject to change

Changes in Hours and Library Closures
The Library will be closed and/or have shortened hours on the following days:
- Closed on Monday, January 19, for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- Spring Hours Begin on Monday, January 26, 2025.
- Closed on Monday, Feburary 16 for President's Day
- Spring Recess: Monday, March 30 - Thursday, April 2, open 12pm - 5pm (4th floor), 9am - 5pm (5th floor) and 8am - 8pm (6th floor)
- Closed Friday, April 3 - Sunday, April 5 for Good Friday and Easter
- Closed Friday, May 22 for the start of summer Fridays
- Closed Saturday, May 23 - Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day weekend
- Summer Hours Begin, Tuesday, May 26

Pick Up Hours for Requested Material
Browsing in the stacks is available and encouraged. However, as an alternative patrons can request FIT books and DVDs through OneSearch for pick up. Step-by-step instructions and additional information can be found on our Borrowing Materials page. Items are located in a beige cabinet in the Main Reading Room by the Library Services Desk. Make sure to check out these materials before you leave either at the self-checkout stations or at the Library Services Desk. Please do not come to the library until you receive a "ready for pick up" confirmation email. Pick up hours are anytime the 5th floor is open.
